Welcome to Aikotaan
Aikotaan Kalibari O Sewa Samiti, is a socio-cultural, non-political organization based in Dwarka, New Delhi manage by a dedicated management team. We organize various annual puja activities, cultural and fun activities apart from welafare activities for our members and society.
Aims and objectives of Aikotaan are
a) To raise Funds for furtherance of the aims and objectives of the Society.
b) To have a Charitable Dispensary and Health Center, a center for ‘Yoga’ including ‘Healing through Yoga’, Sports, Physical Exercises and Library with free Reading Room.
c) To build and maintain a ‘Dharmashala’ for providing temporary shelter to eligible persons and organizations subject to conditions prescribed by the Managing Committee, provided that no such facility shall be provided to persons / organizations, who in the opinion of the Managing Committee has acted or likely to act against the interests of the Society / State.
d) To organize relief operations amongst people without distinction of caste, creed or religion in times of war, natural calamities etc. as may be decided by the Managing Committee. To raise funds for such activities.
e) To undertake by itself or with the help of other organizations, societies, institutions and clubs in religious, socio-cultural, educational, charitable and welfare activities and humanitarian services as may be decided by the Managing Committee and also to help such organizations, societies, institutions and clubs engaged in such activities. To raise funds for such activities.
f) To perform such other allied functions and undertake such other social and non-political activities as may contribute to or further the above mentioned aims and objectives of the Society.
g) To construct a religious place which would portray a confluence of different ‘Hindu’ religious practices and to make appropriate arrangement for daily and/or periodical worship of the deities according to Hindu Shastra.
h) To develop the Complex as a hub of religious, social, cultural, charitable and recreational activities. Festivals / Social celebrations / worships and other activities, as may be decided by the Managing Committee, would be celebrated with community participation.
i) To spread the ideals of love, renunciation and selfless service and universal brotherhood in accordance with the great spiritual heritage of India.
j) To do all necessary acts for fulfilling the above objectives and to acquire land in Dwarka from the concerned Authorities for construction of necessary infrastructure for the Complex.
